Music composition for me has always been an intuitive process.

Often I feel more like the music is coming through me... I hear it in my mind in its entirety sometimes - as a full song or grandiose poem... This happens in all genres and some that may not be genres at all.  I've had orchestras in my head since a young age ... and my task is to not only experience it, but remember it and try to transcribe it.

I have woken up from dreams with songs still in my mind and then spent the morning at the piano figuring out keys and chords... loosely scribbling out lyrics if there are any.

At other times the process of song writing can evolve over three or more months of practical work - sometimes more...

And of course I love to jam...
